A new poll from Synovate published in Dagens Nyheter indicated rather worrying figures for the ruling centre-right coalition and especially for its dominant party, the Moderates. The Moderates got 31.7 percent which is 5.2 percentage units lower than in the August.poll. The party has not had this low figures since the autumn 2010. Another worrying indicator for the government coalition is that although the Christian Democrats increase their support, they are still below the four percent threshold. Thirdly, the Liberal People's Party got 5.5 percent which is the lowest figure in three years.
The Social Democrats have established themselves now as the largest party in Sweden. In this poll they got 34.1 percent which is a slight increase since August.
The new poll gives the centre-right coalition 46.4 percent and the red-green opposition 47.3 percent. Then it should be mentioned that the Christian Democratic support is included despite the fact that they would today not qualify to the Riksdag with this support.
2.685 persons participated in the poll.
