Swedish stocks dive after US downgrade

The Stockholm stock market hit year-low today when it fell with 5.2 percent. This is the biggest dive in three years on the Stockholm stock market. The Swedish stocks have fallen with more than 23 percent this year.

- Last time we had such a big dip was 6 November 2008 in the middle of the financial crisis. Then the Stockholm stock market fell with 6.1 percent, says Carl Norell, press officer at Nasdaq OMX accordimng to SVT.
