The massive accumulation of TV antennas in the context of Crown Princess Victoria childbirth disrupted the magnetic cameras at the Karolinska University Hospital.
“The electromagnetic radiation from the antennas interfered with the magnets contained in the equipment, which meant that we could not carry out our tests. There were a few patients who had to wait an extra hour perhaps,” says Henry Lindholm, director of the hospital's radiology department, to news agency TT.
