Taxi drivers in Stockholm will no longer be required to know the streets of the city. Beginning later this spring they will depend on GPS. The idea is not appreciated by everyone. The County Administrative Board, which is a big customer, believe it might lead to more expensive journeys.
The previous demand for local knowledge concerned all taxi companies which want to sell services to the public sector.
